Fire Chief Joseph Fahd of the Cohoes Fire Department is organizing the annual fire safety program for the children of Cohoes City School District. All Students, K through 4th grade in the Cohoes Schools will receive age-appropriate fire safety manuals which will be handed out during Fire Week in Cohoes schools.
The material will offer information about topics of concern such as, age appropriate fire safety manuals including pre-school manuals, friendly firefighters manuals, school and home fire escape plans, smoke alarms, 911, poison safety, burns prevention and many other very important safety fire tips. Chief Fahd has reviewed this material and approved of the content.
