Council President Primeau made a MOTION to approve the minutes of June 28, 2011. Council Member Kennedy seconded the motion. All members voted “AYE”. The motion passed.
 
Council President Primeau, and Council Members Kennedy, Turcotte, Nolin, Ceccucci, and Signoracci introduced Resolution No. 45 for the year 2011
 
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE ANNUAL BUDGET
 
A roll call vote was taken, Council President Primeau, and Council Members Kennedy, Turcotte, Nolin, Ceccucci, and Signoracci voted “AYE”. Resolution No. 45 for the year 2011 passed. A copy of budget transfers is attached.
 
Council President Primeau, and Council Members Kennedy, Turcotte, Nolin, and Ceccucci introduced Resolution No. 46 for the year 2011
 
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR PURCHASE OF A FIRE TRUCK
 
Mayor McDonald, “This is to award to Roberts & Nichols Fire Apparatus, 8 Tracy Street, Rensselaer, NY 12144 in the amount of $256,522.42 for the purchase of an E-One pumper, including a light tower and fire truck.”
 
A roll call vote was taken, Council President Primeau, and Council Members Kennedy, Turcotte, Nolin, and Ceccucci voted “AYE”. Council Member Signoracci “ABSTAINED” from voting. Resolution No. 46 for the year 2011 passed.

A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE 2011 PUMP STATION SCREEN AND BYPASSES PROJECT
 
Mayor McDonald, “This awards a contract to J. Squared Construction Co., 277 Wolf Hill Road, Voorheesville, NY 12186 in the amount of $56,000.00.”
 
A roll call vote was taken, Council President Primeau, and Council Members Kennedy, Turcotte, Nolin, Ceccucci, and Signoracci voted “AYE”. Resolution No. 47 for the year 2011 passed. 
 
Council President Primeau, and Council Members Kennedy, Turcotte, Nolin, Ceccucci, and Signoracci introduced Resolution No. 48 for the year 2011
 
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE SENIOR CENTER ROOF REPLACEMENT PROJECT
 
Mayor McDonald, “This awards a contract to Titan Roofing, Inc., 70 Orange Street, Chicopee, MA 01013 in the amount of $65,900.00. This is an item that is covered by a grant.”
 
A roll call vote was taken, Council President Primeau, and Council Members Kennedy, Turcotte, Nolin, Ceccucci, and Signoracci voted “AYE”. Resolution No. 48 for the year 2011 passed.

A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE DESIGNATION OF OCTOBER 2011, AS ANTI-BULLYING AWARENESS MONTH
 
A roll call vote was taken, Council President Primeau, and Council Members Kennedy, Turcotte, Nolin, Ceccucci, and Signoracci voted “AYE”. Resolution No. 49 for the year 2011 passed. 
 
PUBLIC COMMENT
 
Council Member Signoracci, “At the last workshop, I presented some information on two resolutions I wanted to have go to committee. I checked today and I did not see that it went to committee. I want to check on the status of them?”
 
Council President Primeau, “You were told to get back to me with more information and I would send it to committee. I have not received anything from you.”
 
Council Member Signoracci, “I would like to file these with the City Clerk.”
 
Council President Primeau, “I will review them and send to committee.”
 
At 7:25 PM, with no public comments being made, Council Member Signoracci made a MOTION to adjourn, Council Member Kennedy seconded the motion, all members voted “AYE”, the motion passed.
