A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE ANNUAL BUDGET OF FISCAL YEAR 2012
 
A roll call vote was taken, Council President Primeau, and Council Members Kennedy, Turcotte, Nolin, Ceccucci, and Signoracci voted “AYE”.  Resolution No. 24 for the year 2012 passed.  A copy of budget transfers are attached.
 
Council President Primeau, and Council Members Kennedy, Turcotte, Nolin, Ceccucci, and Signoracci introduced Resolution No. 25 for 2012
 
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO A CONTRACT FOR ADDITIONAL PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
 
Mayor McDonald, “As the Council knows, two weeks ago we approved awarding of a contract for storm water separation project.  We also approved increasing the total amount for the Bond Ordinance for the project.  Included in the estimate was an increase in the contract for professional services with Malcolm Pirnie, who will be the construction inspection engineer on the project.  The increase will be in the amount of 30,000.00”.
 
A roll call vote was taken, Council President Primeau, and Council Members Kennedy, Turcotte, Nolin, Ceccucci, and Signoracci voted “AYE”.  Resolution No. 25 for the year 2012 passed.
 
Council President Primeau, and Council Members Kennedy, Turcotte, Nolin, Ceccucci, and Signoracci introduced Resolution No. 26 for 2012
 
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE HUDSON RIVER CONSTRUCTION CO.
Mayor McDonald, “This according to New York State Office of General Services Paving Contract, is a contract with Hudson River Construction Co., 101 Dunham Dr., Albany, NY 12202 for a total of $177,714.49, for the streets of James St., Tanguay Dr., Continental Ave., Park and Gansevoort Ave.  This should also include Spring Hollow Dr.”
 
Council Member Ceccucci, “We hire people to do this work, why do we not use our DPW staff?”
 
Mayor McDonald, “These jobs are too large for our crews.  Many projects are being awarded through the State right now and crews are busy.”
 
Council Member Signoracci made a MOTION to amend Resolution No. 26 for the year 2012 to include Spring Hollow Dr.  Seconded by Council President Primeau.  All members voted “AYE”.  The motion passed.
 
A roll call vote was taken, Council President Primeau, and Council Members Kennedy, Turcotte, Nolin, Ceccucci, and Signoracci voted “AYE”.  Resolution No. 26 for the year 2012 passed.

A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN INTER-MUNICIPAL MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITIES OF COHOES AND WATERVLIET
 
A roll call vote was taken, Council President Primeau, and Council Members Kennedy, Turcotte, Nolin, Ceccucci, and Signoracci voted “AYE”.  Resolution No. 27 for the year 2012 passed.
 
Public Comments:      None
 
At 7:21 PM, with no public comments being made, Council Member Signoracci made a MOTION to adjourn.  Seconded by Council Member Kennedy.  All members voted “AYE”.  The motion passed.
